AUTOMATED PULP UNIT HANDLING ATTACHMENTS
Automated pulp handling solutions are designed to improve efficiency, safety and cost-effectiveness in port and terminal operations. By automating the lifting, gripping and releasing of pulp units, modern systems significantly reduce manual work and increase loading speed.
We offer unique and patented way of fully automated handling of pulp units. Our automated pulp spreaders can be mounted on fully hydraulic, MHC, wire rope -cranes.
Spreaders can be powered by hydraulics or electricity from the crane. Spreader capacity can be adjusted from 2-20 pulp units/lift, depending on the size of operation and crane capacity. Catching takes place on the wires on top of the pulp units. With our semi-automated spreaders catching of the unit wires is done manually, and releasing is automated. Typically, semi-automated spreaders are installed on MHC- cranes and onboard vessel cranes.
WHAT IS AUTOMATED PULP HANDLING?
Automated pulp handling refers to the use of specialized lifting attachments and spreaders that enable fully or semi-automated handling of pulp units in ports, terminals and pulp mills. These systems are typically integrated with hydraulic or mobile harbour cranes and are designed to handle multiple pulp units per lift.

The above pulp spreaders can be installed on any fully hydraulic crane with comparable lifting capacity. PU-12 EX can also be installed for example on any Mobile Harbor Cranes (MHC).
